// 2018 //

2018 was so much more than I thought it would be. I know I say this every year, but I am so grateful for the couples, families, and folks who trusted me to not only take their photo, but to tell a small part of their story. Half way through the year, I moved back to the United States after having lived in the Dominican Republic for three years. It was a hard decision, but I was ready to start a new chapter back in Chicago. I had no idea what moving back to Chicago would really look like for me personally and for this business, but now that Iā€™m on the other side I can simply say that it has been amazing, challenging, rewarding, difficult, exciting, daunting, and inspiring.

I cannot wait to see what 2019 brings.

year in review // 2016

when I sat down to look back on this past year's work, I was overwhelmed. overwhelmed by the sheer number of people I had the joy to work with -- the families, the babies, the couples, the seniors. every year, I am reminded of the beautiful stories to be told and feel so honored to be a part of them in a small way.

thank you to each and every one of you who stepped in front of my camera and trusted me. you make my days better.

// 2014 //

well folks, we're nearly a full 2 months into 2015, but I figured I still had time to sneak in a post about the past year. it was a year full of weddings and engagements and babies and seniors galore. I feel so privileged to take part in all these stories in a small way.

2015 is bringing big changes my way -- I am moving to the Dominican Republic! I am still booking for limited dates in 2016 , as well as my remaining time here in the states until the end of July 2015.

I have many weddings coming up in the next 6 months so stay tuned, but for now, I hope you enjoy taking a look back at 2014!

the day has finally arrived -- a new website, a new blog, a new season!

I'm very excited to use this blog to share more weddings, families, seniors, and so much more as the time goes by. there is an abundance of love and excitement happening and I'm blessed to take part in these celebrations in a small way.
